Timothy Kruse

Tim Kruse currently serves in the capacity of a Senior Capital Markets Specialist in the FDIC’s Division of Resolutions & Receiverships. In this role, he is part of the team responsible for the sale of real estate secured assets through the FDIC’s structured transaction program. He is also responsible for the structuring and sale of the FDIC guaranteed financing which is offered in conjunction with the structured transaction program. Most recently, Mr. Kruse managed the Franklin Bank and Corus Bank structured transactions which both closed in 2009.
Prior to joining to the FDIC in 2009, Mr. Kruse held a number of positions in the field of finance, with a particular focus on mortgage finance. He held positions as an independent financial consultant, various finance positions for a period of ten years at GMAC-RFC, eight years at the Resolution Trust Corporation, and three years in the savings & loan industry. Mr. Kruse holds a B.A. in history from the College of William & Mary.
