President
Tishman Construction Corporation

Daniel P. McQuade is the President of Tishman Construction Corporation of New England (TCC-NE), Nevada (TCC-NV), and California (TCC-CA). In addition, he serves as a member of the management committee and as Executive Vice President of its parent entity, Tishman Construction Corporation (TCC). As one of the nation’s largest and most active developers and builders, Tishman and its affiliates comprise a diverse group of construction and real estate companies responsible for building more than 450 million square feet of all types of space for their own account as well as for others.  Tishman Construction ranks #2 nationally on Building Design & Construction's Top Construction Managers list, having put into place $4.7 billion worth of construction in one year.  Tishman’s roster of distinctive construction projects includes some of the most recognized buildings across the country such as the Freedom Tower in New York, CityCenter in Las Vegas, NV, the John Hancock Center in Chicago, the Ronald Regan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., and the LEED® platinum rated One Bryant Park project in New York.  In addition, to it’s construction entities Tishman is one of the nations largest private developers and owners of some of the most prominent hotels such as the Westin Times Square in New York; The Swan and Dolphin Hotels in Walt Disney World, FL; and the Sheraton Chicago Hotel in Chicago.   

Within the regions where Mr. McQuade serves as President, he is responsible for each region’s respective overall activities, operations, personnel and generation of new business. In addition to his responsibilities as President in Nevada, Mr. McQuade recently served as the Corporate Executive on MGM MIRAGE’s CityCenter – the $8.5 billion, 19.4 – million square foot resort on the Las Vegas strip that opened in December of 2009.  CityCenter has been recognized as the largest private development ever in the US.  Mr. McQuade led Tishman’s Construction Management team on this historic project. As Executive Vice President of TCC, Mr. McQuade plays an intricate role in the strategy and initiatives of Tishman Construction Corporation nationwide.   

Mr. McQuade has spent 27 years in the construction industry.  He has led Tishman through large projects in across the country with his work on projects such as the $800 million, 1.8 – million square foot Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, in Florida Disney’s MGM Studio Theme Park and his recent work on MGM MIRAGE’s CityCenter in Las Vegas. 

Mr. McQuade received a Masters of Business Administration at Fordham University and a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering at Cornell University where he is currently actively involved as a member of the Engineering School Advisory Board. He also serves on the Board of Building Careers Partnership, an innovative citywide program that introduces Boston Public School students to the Building Industry; the CitiCenter for the Performing Arts as a member of both the Board of Directors and the Capital Programs Committee; the Board of Overseers for The Home for Little Wanderers; and on the Advisory Boards for the Construction Management Divisions of Roger Williams University and the University of Las Vegas. Mr. McQuade resides in Barrington, RI with his wife Beth and their four daughters.
