Jack Haynes, Executive Vice President, National Builder Division Countrywide Home Loans, Inc.
Jack L. Haynes was appointed Executive Vice President of Countrywide’s National Builder Division in December 2001. His responsibilities include management of the business unit, which serves the financing needs of home builders and their customers across the nation.
Haynes is a very active member of the National Association of Home Builders, and played a key role in the creation and sponsorship of the organization’s NAHB University of Housing, a premier repository of housing knowledge. A prolific author whose writing often focuses on sales and marketing strategies, Haynes is a frequent contributor to builder industry publications, including NBNOnline, Sales + Marketing Ideas, Builder and Professional Builder Magazines. He is also a much sought after speaker and has earned accolades for presentations at events such as the International Builders Show, Pacific Coast Builders Conference and the prestigious annual Presidential Seminar, formerly The Lee Evans Seminar.
Prior to joining Countrywide, Haynes was employed by Hearthstone Advisors where he was responsible for the investment of institutional capital in single-family home building in the western states. He has more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience and has held executive positions in the national builder business units of Weyerhauser Mortgage and GMAC Mortgage.
Haynes’ academic accomplishments include degrees in economics, political science and law. Although he is proud of these accomplishments, he feels that much of what he knows comes from meeting face to face with homebuilders across the nation.
